Intermediate Designer - Commercial Interior fit-outs – MEDICAL division


Cubecom Project Management Inc. is a full-service design-build firm based in Toronto, specializing in medical fit-outs. We offer end-to-end project delivery, combining design, project management, and construction expertise to help our clients bring their spaces to life. Our team is collaborative, fast-paced, and passionate about producing high-quality work.

  • We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to support our growing portfolio of office and healthcare projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has strong technical skills with a good design sense. You will be involved in all aspects of the design process—from concept development and space planning to detailed drawing production and construction coordination.

    • Develop floor plans, presentation materials, and design concepts for office and medical spaces

    • Prepare detailed drawing sets including layout, demolition, RCP, millwork, finishes, and furniture plans

    Assist in selecting and specifying finishes, fixtures, furniture, and equipment

    • Coordinate with internal project managers, clients, consultants, and contractors

    • Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and accessibility standards (OBC/AODA)

    • Support construction and permit documentation processes

    • Participate in client presentations and site visits

    • Help maintain consistency in design standards and internal systems

    • In Person attendance at the office

    • Portfolio must be included with your resume

    • Diploma or degree in Interior Design

    • NCIDQ Certification is a strong asset

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial fit-outs, including medical or healthcare projects

    • Proficiency in technical drawings and detailing

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and graphic design tools

    • Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and AODA regulations

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative team environment

    Schedule:

    • Monday to Friday
